“Just call me the Hustler” Seeing Hal Jordan and Barry Allen together is my favorite team-up in all of comics, so I’ve been admittedly a little anxious to see the two partner together again in the pages of this week’s The Green Lantern: Season Two #4. This issue is another “one and done” adventure but ends with Hal meeting up with the “villains” of this second season. Manhunters is written by Steve Murphy and Javier F. Peña in alternating chapters, giving the reader an insight into their lives over the years. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it happens often enough to be worth mentioning.
There were times when the rich backstory around the characters made Song: The Manhunters Volume 1 feel more like the second book in a series. This book is a great read and a critical account of DEA's finest hour * LTG (Ret.) DC Universe, Justice League Heroes, and DC Universe Online.
