After following a section of the High Street Roman Road there is a new sign showing distances to the nearby forts. Above the village of Boot, off the road over Hardknott Pass, not far from Dalegarth Station are five stone circles known collectively as Burnmoor.

Stone and Cairn Circles just south and east of The Cockpit on Moor Divock. We came across several cairns and four fine stone circles which date from the neolithic period about 3000 years ago.
